Cazenovia House Swap

Rented! sorry...

Sorry! Our house in Cazenovia HAS been rented through August 2007. If you are interested in a short term house-swap (1-3 weeks) during the North American summer sometime in the future (2008 and beyond), please e-mail us! We are dedicated travellers, and if the location you live is an intersting one, we would love to hear from you.

Cazenovia and the central New York area are one of America's best kept secrets. Many envision New York state as an extension of Manhattan, and while the city is a wonderful place in its own way, we are a world removed from the urban hustle & bustle of New York City. Cazenovia is rural life at its best- picturesque farms and woodlands, quaint village streets, beautiful natural scenery (including the world renowned Finger Lakes wine region), and all the conveniences you would hope for anywhere. And best of all, there's none of the crowds you find in the Cotswolds, or Napa Valley, or Tuscany!

Living, entry, & dining rooms...

Here's most of the "public" rooms in the house, including entry foyer, living room, dining room, and upstairs foyer. These are all great spaces that naturally flow into one another, and all have hardwood floors with durable poly finishes.

Kitchen

Here's the Kitchen and Breakfast nook. Everything is designed with custom oak cabinetry in an arts and crafts style, with Jennair electric self-cleaning oven, Jennair gas cooktop, Asko dishwasher, and GE Profile refrigerator. There tons of counter space for the cook in the family, and it is also sports a great view into the gardens.

Master bath...

Here's the main upstairs bath. It is all tiled for ease of cleaning, with a Jacuzzi bath/shower combo, heated towel racks, and a radiant heated tile floor. There's nothing like a warm floor to help ease into a winter morning!
